Protestors took the streets towards Myanmar Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 8, 2017 to rally against violence faced by the Rohingya community in Myanmar. According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, some 270,000 Rohingyan refugees have flooded into Bangladesh after the August 25th clash between the military and militants intensified. The ongoing crisis in the Rakhine state has caused thousands of Rohingya to flee Myanmar with reports of atrocities, including murder and rape, which has been denied by the Myanmar government.
